Project details
A public tool that helps online shoppers in Norway understand if the store they're ordering from is part of the VOEC (VAT On E-Commerce) scheme, and what the total price will be after taxes and customs duties.
By simply entering the name of the online store or VOEC number, users can:
- Instantly see if the seller is VOEC-registered.
- Calculate the total price for their parcel including 25% VAT.
- If the store is not VOEC-registered, it calculates customs duty (toll) based on product type.
- Avoid hidden fees or surprises when the parcel arrives.
Tech Stack
The entire UI is server-driven, CMS-configurable, and mobile-first. The system uses structured content to deliver fast, user-friendly calculations.
